A tiny portion of the whole staircase

Part of the reason I'm (comparatively) in shape probably has to do with climbing these stairs on a daily basis. There is a road that you can take to reach my place, but it's too long, so every day I have to sweat it up these stairs. But it's not all that bad. Some of my most inspiring thoughts come to me while walking up these steep stairs. I have a love-hate relationship with them. For instance, right now I am glad that the stairs exist because I recognize that they help shape my brain and body, but in a day or two when I'm actually walking on them, I will curse them like a madman. Oh, the fickleness of human nature.
